High pressure water jet cleaning
for above waterline

Regularly cleaning and maintaining the above waterline areas serves to prevent the accumulation of contaminants like dirt and salt, which can accelerate corrosion. Corrosion poses a risk to the vessel’s structural integrity, potentially leading to expensive repairs and safety hazards. Cleaning these surfaces plays a crucial role in preserving the ship’s overall condition, prolonging its lifespan, and ensuring both safety and optimal performance.

While underwater cleaning primarily addresses the submerged portions of the vessel, above waterline cleaning is indispensable for upholding the vessel’s aesthetics, corrosion prevention, safety, and overall operational efficiency.

Having issue with the above water line condition?

Apart from being unsightly, these fouling also contributes to high fuel consumption, vessel operation efficiency, loss of vessel speed, even being rejected to enter certain ports.

In Trident, aside from in water cleaning, we also offer cleaning of the above water line.

Cleaning will be done with our customised adjustable high pressure seawater jet spray system. We ensure the best possible removal and cleaning effect during all procedures for surface treatments up to 400 Bar, with minimal to no harm to the paint coatings.

Our cleaning services focus on the areas above the waterline, specifically addressing the fouling that may remain when vessels are in ballast condition. Our experienced technicians work efficiently, utilizing water jets alongside underwater hull cleaning operations to professionally remove fouling. We provide comprehensive reports before and after the cleaning operations to keep our customers informed.

VESSELS GOING TO MPI NZ WATERS?

The above waterline is considered a niche area that must be managed to achieve the clean hull standard set by the CRMS-BIOFOUL. If there is fouling present in the above waterline area then this should be removed to ensure the vessel can comply on arrival in NZTW. If the fouling is not removed the vessel will be at risk of compliance action being taken on the vessel when it arrives in NZTW.

Trust us to deliver effective above waterline hull cleaning services, maintaining the appearance, integrity, and performance of your vessel.
