UWILD inspections are needed by the classifications society to be carried out periodically. For these inspections, the class surveyor and ship representative will be required to inspect the videos that will be fed by the UWILD inspection divers. UWILD inspections require live feed video instead of still images. The rudder pintle reading/measurement and tail shaft reading are also part of the UWILD inspection whereby our divers are trained and qualified to carry out
Non UWILD CCTV Inspection will be carried out on an ad-hoc request when the vessel suspect runs aground or to a certain defouling condition to decide upon cleaning operations to be carried out. In such circumstances, the captain or officer will be required to be aware of the status of the vessel’s hull and an underwater inspection is carried out with the class surveyor
